Lagonias Bistro

Really good food - and reasonably priced - in Chatham. Perfect before an evening at the Mac-Haydn! We had chicken, seafood, and pasta dishes. All were rock solid. Ambience is clean and simple, nothing too charming.

Food-wise this, is a superb Italian restaurant, in the top 1% of those where I've eaten. I can't comment on service because we arrived from Mac-Hadyn Theatre at 4:00 pm and there was no one else there. But our server was bright, cheery & well aware of all menu items. Atmosphere was plain although sidewalk seating might be a good option in the right weather.

I live in NYC and this pizza is better than any pizza parlor in my neighborhood. I literally get excited when I know we are gonna get a pepperoni mushroom pie from this place …. Highly recommend.

I grew up going to the original Lagonia‘s location. When we were kids we called it mussel’s for sale because my baby brother would don a bib made from his napkin and serve our table from the big bowl of mussels. Although some of the same dishes are a little smaller and most definitely the location is, they still serve great food (and mussels!)

Finding a place to stop on our way up to VT is always hard but we were so happy when we came across this place. The penne vodka and pizza were amazing (penne vodka was some of the best I've ever had)! We were happy to find a place with a veggie burger as well. The staff were very friendly and attentive and food service was quick. Will definitely eat here again if we pass through.

We are stopping through town for dinner. The menu is great here, lots of options for everyone to enjoy. We ordered fried pickles and mozzarella, tomato basil for apps, both were great. The pickles needed a little more tang flavor for me, but very enjoyable. We ordered eggplant parm for dinner, very well seasoned and delicious. It was massive and great for two people. Our server Jessie was amazing, very accommodating, polite and easy to talk about the menu with. Overall great stop for dinner, would recommend to others. Very cozy.

I am my partner had a nice outside experience, we just happened to stumble by this place, it was a cloudy trying to rainy Sunday late afternoon, on August 24, 2025. I had the Roasted Duck, was talked into it, and great choice, the cranberry sauce I think had a hint of horseradish in it, man really awesome, she had the Pasta & Grandma Sauce, she enjoyed it. We will be coming back to eat, an hour drive for us, well worth it! It has it steady flow of customers with tips of what to order. Thank you for turning our day into a very pleasant one!
